How to confirm OBT electronically
1.10.2022 forward onboard trainings can be confirmed electronically!
When your OBT application has been processed and an OBT placement has been found HarjoitteluMylly will contact you. Some of the OBT are allocated by calling and some by e-mail. This depends on whether it is a line ship or a wild line ship. The liners’ schedule can be predicted in advance therefore elctornic confirmation in the OBT system can be used.
It is important that the contact information in the application is correct so that the apprentice can be reached (valid e-mail and phone number).
Keep an eye on your email (also trash folder) as well as your phone while you are waiting for an OBT placement. If you cannot be reached HarjoitteluMylly will offer a place for the next applicant.
How the electronic confirmation works:
- When HarjoitteluMylly has an OBT placement for you the system will send you an automatic email. In the e-mail message, you are informed about the placement offered
- The email contains a link that will take you to HarjoitteluMyllys system
- After logging in, you can either accept or reject the OBT offer
Please note that with electronic confirmation YOU must separately log in to the system and confirm the placement! You have 48 hours (2 days) to respond, after which the place will be offered to the next applicant.
